Day 1: Hanoi - Phu Yen (L, D)

Tur guide meet you at hotel and moves to the gathering point to start the motorbike ride Northern Vietnam. From the starting point, after getting on the bike, we will hit the road to Phu Yen.

Leaving Hanoi behind and moving on the suburban roads, you will be stunned by the landscapes nearby. After 100km out of Hanoi, our Vietnam motorbike crew will pass by many massive mountains which have been created for a long time due to some geographical changes. You can also view the enormous paddy fields separated by the red murky-red soil paths.

Arrive to Phu Yen before the dawn and enjoy the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Phu Yen - Than Uyen (B, L, D)

Start the 2nd day by ascending to forested hilly areas sparely resided by H’mong people. Before tumbling down to a valley with the vast land of tea, we go up to a high mountain. Today could be the best part of the trip. Then you keeps moving in the basement of valley through the paddy fields, with some rustic villages of Thai and H’mong people scattering around.

We stay overnight in a standard hotel and have dinner in town. It brings to the end of the 2nd day of motorcycle tours northern Vietnam.

Day 3: Than Uyen - Sapa (B, L, D)

Cotinue the journey biking up the Fansipan mountain range. The roads leading to Sapa is encircled by gigantic rocky mountains. Our Vietnam motorcycle team will gear up through a glorious pass named Tram Ton, from Binh Lu to the top of the highest mountain road pass in Vietnam. It is another highlight day of North Vietnam motorbike tours.

After crossing the pass, northern Vietnam motorbike tours will reach Lao Cao tertiary, which is roughly 2000m above the sea level. From here, you can have a panoramic view of valleys thousand miles apart. Arrive Sa Pa town for lunch. After checking in the hotel, we will take a short motorbike riding around Lao Chai, Ta Van village and have dinner in town.

Day 4: Sapa - Ha Giang (B, L, D)

In the morning, the team descend to Lao Cai town, and then move to the Chinese border area, enjoy tasty Vietnamese coffee and say hello to China before we continue the off-road Vietnam motorbike tours to Viet Quang, running along the Chinese border.

On the way, you stop in some traditional villages or mountainous markets. We enjoy the lunch in Viet Quang town and reach Ha Giang city in the late afternoon. The 4th day with motorbike touring northern Vietnam will have dinner and overnight in the home stay of local people.

 Day 5: Ha Giang - Dong Van - Meo Vac (B, L, D)

Today we have ride motorbike to Dong Van plateau, one of the farthest place in Ha Giang, where is the home of many ethnic minorities. We will pass by many impressive landmarks, named the “Heaven Gate” in Quan Ba, Rock Plateau and Vuong place in Dong Van, Ma Pi Leng pass. We reach Ma Pi Leng in the afternoon and enjoy one relaxing night in this peaceful town.

Day 6: Meo Vac - Ba Be lake (B, L, D)

From Meo Vac town, we move to Ba Be lake. The route from Meo Vac to Ba Be promisingly brings many marvelous landscapes for our Northern Vietnam motorcycle trips. We will cross the pass which you can admire the beauty of Nho Que River in the valley.

After having lunch in Bao Lac, you keeps riding about 30km in the sealed road, and then turn to the bumpy trail cutting through the jungles, streams and small rivers. It could be the best part for off-road motorcycle trip North Vietnam.

We come to Ba Be Lake on the well-naturally beautified paths and reach the home stay of Tay indigenous people, where we spend the 6th night of motorcycle ride in northern Vietnam here.

Day 7: Ba be lake - Bac Kan (B, L, D)

As the largest natural lake in Vietnam, Ba Be Lake is located in the core of Ba Be National Park. This park is really amazing due to the surroundings of lakes, waterfalls, caves and the special geological structure. This area is highly bio-diversified and the home of numerous hill tribes.

If we come to Ba Be in the market day, we can spend hours on visiting the periodical market, and then motorbiking to the lake and starting the boat trip. Take the boat trip around the wonderful lake and discover the scenery of this spectacular lake. We will have lunch in the forest and savor the enchanted beauty of nature. After lake trip, you ride to the Bac Kan town and stay overnight here.

Day 8: Bac Kan - Hanoi (B, L)

Today the last day, we will ride back to Hanoi on the rugged roads with many potholes and rocks. After that, we will get into the paved highway on the suburban areas of Hanoi. We come to the center before 5:00pm and end the 8 day motorbike tour.
