COCONUT BOAT TOUR (BASKET BOAT TOUR)

At 8:00 am (or 1:00 pm) Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Hoi An and transfer to Cam Thanh coconut village to start a Cam Thanh Coconut Boat Ride Trip (Basket Boat Ride). After about 20 mins, we will arrive in Cam Thanh
Here, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community.

During the trip, the boatman will take coconut leaves to make funny natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses … extremely lovely for you. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum.

Join in local fisherman on the river and experience on round net or cast net. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even animals soft body.
Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat. You will hear stories of past wars and the harsh conditions that soldiers have to endure. You will have lunch at local restaurant ( optional).
